We were an Apple dominant practice working on Mac books. Our equipment was getting older and having to be on Apple meant there was only so much that we could integrate with other apps.
In accountancy we also need a minimum of two screens per work station. We had lots of Mac laptops that only supported one external monitor.
After discussions with the team at Ultra, we created a plan to upgraded everyone’s computer. Andrew sourced all of the laptops on a lease, set them up one station at time, with minimal disruption to the work flow, and transferred all of the work over from the Macs. Installing them was effortless.
IT is one of our biggest things as we work on computers 90% of the time, so any disruptions to computers creates anxiety for us. Having all of the upgrades done has relieved the anxiety so that we can work easily and efficiently. With the right updated hardware, each of our work stations also now has the ability to work remotely.

At Waipu Museum we had initially been setup with email forwarding from our website to multiple free gmail accounts.
